Hello Ladies,

First of all,

Happy New Year!!!

I’m really excited for 2018 and what better way to start the year than with my very first blog post!!! Welcome to Pretty Little Peony.

I have a lot of cool stuff planned for my blog. I can’t wait to see what this year brings! I also wanted to share my current beauty faves with you!

beauty favorites

1.  Redken Pillow Proof dry shampoo for Brunettes

This stuff is so amazing!!! I have thick hair so some dry shampoos just don’t cut it for my type of hair and leave it looking oily even after application. Not this one! I love that it is tinted too! That way you don’t have the white residue on your roots.

2. Maybelline Define-a-lash mascara

I love this mascara!! I have been trying a lot of new mascara’s and I keep coming back to this one. I love how versatile it is for both subtle makeup as well as gorgeous evening and formal looks.

3. EOS vanilla bean lip balm stick

To be honest, I really don’t like the ball EOS lip balms, simply because I am constantly losing them. oops! But this one I am digging right now! I like the flavor, its sweet, but not sickeningly sweet. It goes on smooth and stays on really well. I like the size of the tube and best of all, I don’t lose this one!

4. Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation

I have very dry skin, because of this, a lot of foundations look horrible on me. Even with Moisturizer and Primer I still can’t get some of them to not look gross or cakey on my skin. I received this foundation from a friend and her skin was the complete opposite of mine and she didn’t like it. I tried it once and thought, “Where has this been all my life?!?”. I can’t believe I waited so long to try this foundation.

5. Garnier SkinActive micellar cleansing water for waterproof makeup

I wear a lot of waterproof makeup. Between wearing contacts and living in an arid climate my eyes water constantly. This gets even the most stubborn waterproof mascara off without irritating my eyes. I like to use it to clean up under my eyes for the little bit of stray mascara that gets under your lower lashes. I just simply put it on a cotton swab and clean up around the lash line.
